When was the last time you had a "magical moment?"
You know the feeling...everything goes/flows
without effort. You're at the top of your game.
Time seems to stand still. You're doing what you
love to do most. Then in a flash, an instant,
you leave this mundane world and enter the "magic
zone": the place where miracles happen; where the
impossible suddenly becomes possible; where all
boundaries, all limits disappear...and whatever
it is that you truly desire becomes reality.
Surely all of us have experienced at least one
"magical moment" in our lives. Why? Because we've
all been children.
Children easily find "magical moments" just
around the corner, behind the next tree, waiting
to hatch from an egg, emerge from a cocoon, or be
tossed up on shore with the next big wave. They
shriek with delight and giggle with glee as they
experience the joy -- the magic -- of discovery,
of creation, of greater awareness, the thrill of
new and bigger accomplishments.
As we grow older, though, it's easy for us to
become so entangled and absorbed with the concerns
and cares of the so-called "real" world that we
forget to take time out to experience the "magic."
I enjoyed a "magical moment" just yesterday
while on a nature walk in the woods with a
friend. We learned something new, did something
really different, and discovered something
downright extraordinary. It was the stuff of
dreams come to life. Both of us felt the "magic."
Yipee! It was sooo much fun!!!
Do you still believe in "magic?" Have you
experienced any "magical moments" lately?
Oh ... and by the way ... have you ever seen
a "fairy ring"? Or the "green flash" at sunset?
Enjoy the magic!
