The word provident means "providing carefully for future needs and events." Provident Organic Farm is a Community Supported Agriculture farm or CSA. In our CSA, members pay for their shares before the season begins so that farmer Jay Martin may use it for expenses related to growing the produce for the CSA. In exchange, as the harvest comes in, Jay supplies each household with a weekly supply of fresh, organically grown produce. The farmer uses all of his knowledge and skill to grow healthy, delicious organically grown vegetables, using sustainable agricultural practices, and members enjoy the bounty. Keep track of the farm's progress and get a wonderful taste of the country by downloading their weekly newsletters (in PDF format).
