God's Law of Advancement

Are you feeling drawn to discover your destiny, to find
your purpose in life? Are you longing to become the unique
person you were meant to be?
It's time to let God's law of advancement take hold in
your life and set you on a path of true enjoyment for
fulfilling your life's calling!
Seeking your goal in life (what it is you want the most)
is the first step of the process. This sets the law of
advancement in motion.
Next, you must learn how to consistently shift your thoughts
upwards in the direction of possibility and success. This is
done by developing "faith."
Faith comes by hearing, so start by expressing gratitude to
God day and night. Listen to the words you say. This is easy
to do when you realize that your success in life depends
upon it.
When you know what you want, claim it. Claim the specifics
of it. For example: if you want to move forward in your
career and achieve a higher level of income, then say to
yourself, "I claim this job and this amount of money (a
specific dollar amount)." This becomes your present vision.
Express thankfulness for that vision several times a day
and listen to your words.
Your faith will grow as you work within God's system. Don't
let anxiety or pressure to cut corners tempt you to go
beyond your present ability and faith, and never try to
cheat someone for what you want. Instead, keep your mind at
rest and believe by faith that whatever you have claimed,
it's yours in that moment. Be thankful for it and don't stop
until you receive it.
Now it's time to visualize, personalize, and act upon your
advancement. It's a human need and desire to move forward,
so take this action with full determination and knowledge
that God has given you this ability through Him to succeed.
This should help you understand that it's right for you to
become more, want more, and have more, as long as your
motives aren't selfish.
Spend quiet time as often as possible visualizing what you
have claimed. If you have financial difficulties that have
kept you from moving forward and you've claimed a wage or
salary increase, see yourself with all your needs met and
envision yourself giving to others if you don't already do
so. God's method of advancement includes your becoming a
blessing to others, not just to yourself. As you freely give
of whatever you have, including your talents, you will
receive more.
Speak faith statements to yourself and personalize them in
the following way: "I am fulfilling my destiny." "God has
made me a success in what I do." "I learn quickly." "I am
intelligent." "I am advancing in my career." "I believe my
special work is revealed to me." As you spend time
confessing and personalizing what you believe, you will
actually feel your faith growing, and when it reaches the
level where you can believe with all your heart, your
requests will be manifested.
Act upon your faith by advancing yourself from wherever you
are. For example, when doing household chores, always work
efficiently to the best of your ability no matter how small
the task. This will help you build a mental pattern of
success.
At your job, do the same. It doesn't matter if you hate it
or you believe it has little opportunity for advancement.
God's principle of advancement will continue to move you
forward. You may not see visible results at first, so you
must see them in your mind and keep your vision, keep
personalizing, and keep acting as if what you want is
already a reality. This is faith at work!
Remember to only ask God for what you want one time. To ask
repeatedly for the same thing implies doubt. You must
believe you have received your request with all your heart.
Remaining thankful will help you do this.
The next step is crucial! Don't let doubt separate you from
your vision and God. Use your faith (and statements of
faith) to override any doubt in your mind. When others
doubt your faith and vision for advancement, don't listen.
This will help you create a "success" mentality.
Be careful who you share your dreams with, and your time.
Family members can sometimes be the most discouraging,
especially when they see you moving along a different path
than what they expect. Don't allow anyone including yourself
to take you out of the present and into your past. The past
is dead. Forget about the mistakes you've made or any harm
done to you! If you must, fix whatever you can for peace of
mind and then move forward quickly. Forgiveness must come
into play for everyone including yourself. When this occurs,
great things begin to happen and the real you begins to
emerge.
Finally, be sure to always see God as the creator of all
things; therefore He has more than enough of everything you
could want. So if you become disappointed because you
believe there isn't enough of what you want or there is too
much competition for it, you put yourself in a competitive
state of mind and limit your ability to fulfill your unique
calling. By working within God's creative ability, your
faith will soar and your thinking won't be limited to what
you see.
Keep your vision while you work in your present job, doing
each task as efficiently and cheerfully as possible. Never
complain or speak about what you don't have. You will be
advancing daily as you do this, and others will notice your
positive attitude, seeking after you for advice and help.
This will add to your confidence and your faith.
If you're feeling unsure, seek guidance. Be thankful for it,
and remain centered upon receiving the wisdom you need,
trusting that it will come. Meanwhile, keep the process of
advancement moving in your life by getting whatever
education or training you may need as you are inspired.
